What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, and street sweepers, for lagoon cleanout and material management
- Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Ensure compliance with DOT, state, local, and in-house regulations
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and team members to efficiently manage material movement
- Load extracted material into haul trucks and maintain a clean worksite
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
- Experience in making minor repairs and adjustments to operating equipment
- Proficiency in computer operation and electronic controls
