      Summary

      £48,400 up to £64,900* per annum- This isn’t making a change today. This is making an impact tomorrow.

      We are looking for a highly passionate and motivated Consultant to join our Employee Engagement team to help drive our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion strategy forward. The successful candidate will be supporting the delivery of the E,D&I strategy of the Engagement team by taking on responsibility for certain initiatives and projects in the team to help us achieve our vision of ensuring that Lidl is an inclusive place for everyone. This is an exciting role with lots of exposure to senior stakeholders and wider areas of the business which will bring lots of crossover with the wider HR function.

      We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.

      ‘To keep in line with company structure this role will be called Employee Engagement Consultant internally’

      What you'll do

      • Supporting the implementation of our E,D&I strategy through leading various projects across our focus areas (Gender, Ethnicity, Disability, Age, LGBTQ+), including responsibility for the creation and delivery of a suite of Employee Resource Groups, new regional initiatives, line manager guidance, training sessions, etc.
      • Supporting with the creation and delivery of our annual calendar of E,D& I events, including researching, planning and communicating campaigns such as International Women’s Day, Pride, Black History Month and more.
      • Planning, researching, and presenting business cases for E,D,&I initiatives to enhance the relationship with our colleagues and ensure Lidl continues working towards becoming a market leader within D&I
      • Reviewing and evaluating current D&I initiatives and their impact on the business
      • Reviewing external D&I market wide trends
      • Supporting with D&I queries from leaders and colleagues from across the business.
      • Working closely with Employer Brand and Internal Comms to align our internal engagement communications with our company employer brand, ensuring the employee lifecycle is fluid and seamless
      • Ad hoc project work and tasks in the wider Employee Engagement team as required

      What you'll need

      • A passion for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion with experience in these topics
      • Understanding of industry wide trends in inclusion and best practice.
      • HR experience and an understanding of the full employee lifecycle is desirable
      • Project management skills with experience delivering on multiple projects simultaneously
      • Ability to network and build effective relationships with stakeholders
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
      • Results driven and self-starter using lots of initiative
      • Well organized, ability to e ffectively work to deadlines
      • Adaptable to change and able to change direction to move with the changing needs of the business
