      As an Equity Research Associate within our Insurance Research team, you will have the opportunity to define, refine, and deliver set goals for our firm. Working closely with Portfolio Managers and the Senior Research Analyst, you will cover a broad range of Insurance companies. Your role will include managing financial forecasts, interacting with both the company and sell-side analysts, and providing timely macroeconomic, political, and company insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your strategic thinking and passion for research in the dynamic field of insurance.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Track the companies within the EU Insurance space.
      • Create and utilize financial models for investment valuation. Technical excel and modelling skills are essential.
      • Make relative value comparisons and assist the Senior Research analyst initiate coverage.
      • Collaborate and communicate with a global network of J.P. Morgan Asset Management Insurance analysts.

      Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

      • Post graduate degree required, CFA
      • At least 3 years of relevant investment experience with prior experience in Equity Research
      • Analytical skill, measured investment judgement, decision-making, intellectual curiosity, intellectual honesty, teamwork, pro-active communication
      • Finding new investment ideas as well as thorough understanding, valuing and maintaining coverage on existing investments
      • Should be comfortable working in EMEA shifts
