- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or similar.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology.
- Assist medical staff with patient assessments and procedures in the emergency room.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in patient charts.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for use.
- Provide basic patient care, including comfort measures and assistance with mobility.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide updates and support.

Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Technician (ERT) plays a critical role in the healthcare system by providing immediate support to medical staff in high-pressure situations.
