Job Description

- Review title insurance commitments to ensure all title exceptions have been cleared.
- Review completed closing packages for accuracy and completeness and, as necessary.
- Balance settlement statements and prepare files for funding.
- Disburse all proceeds on closing files and keep accurate records of all invoices/demands for escrow files.
- Review payoff demands, calculate per diem and other charges.
- Verify company service fees to be charged to customers at closing.
- Maintain organized, complete escrow files.
- Manage closing calendar.
- Perform other duties assigned by manager.
- High school diploma.
- 3-5 years related industry experience.
- Ability to work pre-scheduled, staggered shifts between 8 am and 8 pm Central time.
- Ability to work with internal audit personnel or external insurance department personnel as requested or required.
- Complies with Company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and complete mandatory company compliance training by prescribed deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and must possess strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and RamQuest.
- Regular and consistent attendance is required.
- Ability to accept supervision as well as constructive feedback.
- Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
- Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

- The ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday is required.
- Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required
- Sedentary work: the majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, walking and the occasional need to lift objects over 10 lbs.

Are you an experienced escrow professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service? We are seeking a skilled Escrow Funder to join our dynamic team in Northern Plano!
In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing and approving key documents like ALTA’s, T-64’s, settlement statements, loan packages, and title insurance commitments. You’ll ensure that all title exceptions are cleared, prepare files for funding, and accurately disburse proceeds while maintaining organized and compliant escrow files. Your expertise will be vital in managing closing calendars, calculating per diem charges, and verifying service fees.
*This position requires in-office attendance in our Plano, TX office, with the capability to work both 8:00-5:00 and 10:00-7:00 shifts in rotation.
