      Job Description:

      The successful candidate for this position will review closing statements, ALTA's, payoffs, commitments, etc., for accuracy per lender closing instructions and ORT fees as well as TDI compliance. On funding day they will balance the file, make sure all docs are cataloged properly in the VINCA file, then initiate wires for payoffs and borrower proceeds and cut checks. We do residential refinance closings and cell towers on the commercial side.

      *This position requires in-office attendance in our Plano, TX office, with the ability to work both 8:00am-5:00pm and 10:00am-7:00pm shifts in rotation.

      *Must have escrow license or be willing to obtain it upon offer of this position.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      • Review and approve ALTA’S, T-64’s: CD’s, and settlement statements, loan packages and other documents as necessary and in accordance with closing instructions.

      • Review title insurance commitments to ensure all title exceptions have been cleared.

      • Review completed closing packages for accuracy and completeness and, as necessary.

      • Balance settlement statements and prepare files for funding.

      • Disburse all proceeds on closing files and keep accurate records of all invoices/demands for escrow files.

      • Review payoff demands, calculate per diem and other charges.

      • Verify company service fees to be charged to customers at closing.

      • Maintain organized, complete escrow files.

      • Manage closing calendar.

      • Perform other duties assigned by manager

      KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

      • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

      • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

      • Strong attention to detail and must possess strong organizational skills.

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and RamQuest.

      • High school diploma.

      • 3-5 years related industry experience.

      • Ability to work pre-scheduled, staggered shifts between 8 am and 8 pm, Central time.

      • Must be personable, positive and professional representative of the Company.

      • Regular and consistent attendance is required.

      • Ability to work with internal audit personnel or external insurance department personnel as requested or required.

      • Ability to accept supervision.

      • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others (i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers and vendors).

      • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.

      • Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by Manager.

      • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
