- Develop, implement and follow-up of our sustainability program We Care
- Lead, develop and coordinate our annual sustainability reporting and assurance processes, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting standards and regulations (e.g. GRI, CSRD, EU Taxonomy)
- Analyze and coordinate reporting to selected ESG ratings (e.g. EcoVadis, CDP, CSA)
- Taking charge of sustainability projects, driving them towards successful outcomes
- Maintaining an active and open dialogue with key stakeholders and serving as the corporate-level subject matter expert and spokesperson for various external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, investors, and the financial community.
- Work on ESG communication material to promote the organization's sustainability initiatives and achievements
- Cultivating a culture of sustainability by engaging employees and spearheading the development of sustainability training programs.
- Stay updated about emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field
- 7+ years of work experience in managing sustainability in an international company
- Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives
- Strong leadership skills, cooperative attitude, and ability to successfully manage a global matrix organization and networks
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and regulations as well as ESG ratings and their application
- Experience in company and product carbon footprint calculation
- Excellent writing, presentation and communications skills in English, German language skills are an advantage
- Analytical and strategic thinking combined with creativity
- Ability to communicate, cooperate and interact comfortably across cultures

We are looking for a Sustainability Director (m/f/d) to join our Communcations and Marketing Team in Europe.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Sustainability Director to lead our sustainability efforts and take ANDRITZ's sustainability performance to new heights. As a professional with a proven track record in sustainability management within an international setting and a deep understanding of sustainability reporting and regulatory developments, you will play a crucial role in driving our sustainability agenda forward.
Your responsibilities as Sustainability Director will involve leading, coaching, and coordinating a diverse team of colleagues from various functions, business areas, and locations across the globe. Together, you will work towards our shared sustainability objectives, ensuring the implementation of systematic annual action plans and targets, while closely monitoring and following up on progress.
You will report to the VP, Head of Communications and Marketing and can be located in any major ANDRITZ location in Europe.Your Tasks

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 6.400 for this position on an all-in basis.
