      The Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Reporting Senior Analyst will be responsible for collating and analysing data to support sustainability reporting against multiple ESG frameworks and regulations applicable for EMEA entities including TCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures), NFRD (Non-Financial Reporting Directive), CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), EU taxonomy regulation and others.

      ESG Reporting Senior Analyst

      This role is member of the ESG reporting team, which is responsible for data collection and assistance in the preparation of mandatory and voluntarily sustainability disclosures for legal entities in Europe. The ESG reporting team works closely with other areas of Citi, including Sustainability & ESG, Chief Administrative Office, Risk, Regulatory and Statutory reporting.

      Responsibilities:

      • Contribute to special projects in developing ESG and sustainability reporting methodologies and support the preparation of ESG disclosures in line with applicable standards and regulations
      • Assist in developing ESG and sustainability data quality and availability
      • Support with data collection, analysis and reporting across a range of ESG metrics
      • Monitor emerging, global and EMEA ESG trends, frameworks and regulations to advance the disclosures of EMEA entities
      • Work closely with internal partners across the firm on sustainability and ESG-related reporting
      • Collaborate with local EMEA teams in responding to local regulatory requirements in relation to Climate Risk/ESG management practices
      • Stay abreast of emerging ESG trends in EMEA

      Ideal background:

      • Bachelor’s degree/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Degree related to sustainability-related field is an advantage.
      • 1-2 years experience in sustainability and ESG reporting, overall 5-7 years experience in reporting roles (environmental statistics, controlling, finance, auditing).
      • Excellent analytical skills, proficient in Excel and comfortable analysing large datasets
      • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
      • Understanding of ESG disclosure trends and best practices is an advantage
      • Familiarity with TCFD, SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) and GRI ( Global Reporting Initiative) standards and EMEA regulations for sustainability reporting is an advantage
      • Ability to interpret and implement ESG frameworks and regulations
      • Familiarity with SQL and experience with data transformation tools, data analytics platforms such as KNIME and/or Power BI is an advantage
