      This position is with our company BioPharm Engineered Systems (BPES), which provides custom engineered process separation and fluid handling equipment for the biopharmaceutical industry. Our experienced teams of engineers and skilled craftsmen have repeatedly delivered “best in class” systems to the biopharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. Our design, engineering and management team is focused on creating custom solutions that meet the critical requirements of the biopharmaceutical industry and our clients.

      SUMMARY

      The estimator and Spare parts Coordinator will perform various sales support and customer service functions for internal and external customers in the biotech industries. Includes - estimating, custom components, spare parts, and custom systems with limited project management.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes, but not limited to the following:

      • Provide superior customer service to external and internal customers by handling incoming calls, e-mails, and requests in a timely manner.
      • Respond to customer inquiries relating to spare parts and proposal questions. Seek technical expertise when necessary to find solutions for our customers.
      • Work with Business Development when necessary to support and grow client relationships and leverage opportunities.
      • A strong understanding of BPE, cGMP codes and Industry Standards for process piping and equipment.
      • Manage estimating, quoting and execution of assigned responsibilities.
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to generate customer facing proposals.
      • Culture, develop and maintain a healthy customer base by providing competitive, professional, and quality projects on time and within budget with a focus on customer service.
      • Ability to read, analyze and interpret construction drawings, P&ID’s, Technical Specifications, Orthographic and Isometric diagrams.
      • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers.
      • Assist with estimating and quoting small custom fabrications, products, field installation projects, work with other quotation engineers on larger project proposals when needed.
      • Receive orders and enter them into the internal order entry system (Quest) and production schedule.
      • Work with Business Development, and Production Operations Manager to follow-up on leads for spare parts and services.
      • Manage small multi-order spare part projects from 5 -15 open jobs at one time.
      • Work with finance with receivable collection activities and invoicing where appropriate.
      • Attend weekly meetings for both production and spare parts coordination meetings.
      • Other activities as assigned.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

      • High School Diploma or GED (Minimum)
      • Customer service/inside sales role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • 1-3 years’ experience in the biotech industry a plus
