Upper Moreland School District - Design daily lesson plans based on student’s IEP goals.
- Provide daily instruction in goal areas.
- Provide effective classroom management.
- Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans and rewards systems as outlined in IEPs, maintain effective communication with parents.
- Maintain data collection records.
- Provide daily direction and communication with paraprofessionals.
- Meaningfully engage with students to create a fun and robust learning environment.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education required.
- PA Special Education certification required.
- Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher preferred.
- Previous experience working with students with special needs.
- Willingness to support children in self-care such as dressing, toileting and eating.
- Physical stamina to participate in all activities including education, preparation of activities and material.
- Must be available for entire program and available for a training date prior to the start of ESY.
- Must be a good team player, punctual, energetic, parent friendly and have an eagerness to learn.
- Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements.

- Monday through Thursday
- June 30th through July 31st
- 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Half-Day)
- + 10 prep hours
- Autistic Support, Emotional Support, Learning Support, and Life Skills Support positions available
