Investigates reports of unethical workplace activity (e.g., allegations of Code of Conduct violations, harassment, sexual harassment, retaliation, discrimination, labor mischarging, conflicts of interest, disrespectful behavior, etc.). The role supports Ethics, Compliance, and other business segment investigations as practical and will report to the Director, Ethics, Compliance and Talent Management.
Primary Responsibilities include utilizing generally accepted investigative standards, principles and techniques to conduct confidential investigations of sensitive workplace and ethics issues; performing thorough interviews while ensuring the rights of interviewees; gathering and analyzing data and conducting research; composing detailed investigative reports and providing sound analysis, solid data, confirmed facts, and insights into understanding root causes. May conduct briefings with legal counsel, Human Resources and leadership. Responsibilities will also include recommending process improvements based on the assessment of quarterly metrics, ethics survey results, audit results and other sources.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or GED with 11 years relevant experience conducting complex legal, ethics, and/or human resources investigations; Bachelor’s degree and minimum of three years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate Degree and a minimum of one year of prior related experience or equivalent. A combination of experience and education may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate within and outside of the organization, influencing others and communicating with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional business area. Formal training with interviewing people from a variety of backgrounds.
• Proficient communication skills in English and Spanish (oral and written)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply applicable sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations and policies
