- Your role will involve working with the central energy trading and risk management (ETRM) tool (Endur), ensuring efficient and effective operations. You will have the opportunity to implement and maintain innovative products, ranging across multiple commodities (power, fuels, emissions)
- You will enjoy direct interaction with a variety of stakeholders, including trading, risk management, and trade control, who are easily accessible (mainly in the same building) and not hidden behind multiple layers of business analysts
- You will have the opportunity to build expertise on both the business and the system, learning from long-standing experts in the field. Through a structured onboarding process and job shadowing in adjacent areas, we ensure that you are thoroughly trained and can develop a comprehensive understanding of our business processes
- Based in our brand-new Hamburg Hafencity office, you will collaborate with a diverse and international team of analysts
- Additionally, your work will be closely related to the European energy transition, contributing to a sustainable and greener future
- As a (Senior) ETRM System Analyst, you will take charge of maintaining and advancing existing commodity product implementations in the ETRM (Endur) system for power, fuels, and emissions
- You will leverage your expertise to configure / implement sophisticated valuation and risk models, including PnL, Value at Risk, Monte Carlo simulations and Stress Testing
- Additionally, you will optimize reporting solutions and support tools, develop cutting-edge monitoring tools, and automate key trading processes such as settlement/fixing and position management
- You will also consult with stakeholders and manage projects, ensuring that their needs are met while driving successful outcomes
- This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to apply your extensive experience and skills, making a significant impact in a complex and dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. We welcome applicants from various fields of study, as the exact discipline is less important than your ability to solve complex problems
- Extensive knowledge and substantial experience with Endur or similar ETRM systems
- Familiarity with Energy Trading or related Commodity Trading
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
- English language skills are required. German language skills are a plus, but not required
