To support this focus area, Amazon is seeking an experienced Safety Auditor to join the Workplace Health and Safety, Governance and Compliance Team. This program manager will play a critical role in evaluating and improving our company's safety management systems and compliance with safety regulations.
      The successful candidate will execute the pre-audit, audit and post-audit tasks successfully and efficiently. Candidate will conduct audits, assess risks and recommend measures to enhance existing safety management systems. Successful candidate will work with relevant stakeholders to address systematic and repeated compliance gaps, and support the adoption of WHS strategies and influence change across regional stakeholders.
      This job requires minimum 50% of travelling in Europe and the United Kingdom; 10% of travelling globally if it is requested.


      Key job responsibilities
      *Lead WHS audits - The Lead WHS auditor is responsible for preparing and conducting audits in accordance with ISO 19011 requirements for managing health and safety systems.
      * Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards to protect the organization which includes identifying and understanding applicable EU state level applicable WHS regulations and developing WHS compliance audit questions.
      *Execute pre-audit, audit, and post-audit activities with internal peer auditors and external auditors as necessary.
      *Prepare high quality and precise audit reports, present audit reports to top management if necessary, and maintain close contact with Business Unit leadership teams regarding audit findings to ensure high quality findings closure.
      *Act as a Subject Matter Expert and train internal and external auditors when needed.
      *Verbally communicate clearly and concisely, understand audience, listen effectively, and clarify information as needed at different phases of audits.
      *Perform trend analysis of audit findings, produce effective executive level papers, communicate technical safety information verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audience. Provide clear and concise explanations to complex problems and potential risks and use the data to support the adoption of WHS strategies and influence change across stakeholders.
      *Work with relevant stakeholders to address systematic and repeated compliance gaps to enhance the safety compliance of the company pro-actively,
      *Monitor country-specific regulations and internal EHS policies and recommend updates to existing audit programs.

      We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

      Luxembourg, LUX- Bachelor's degree
      - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
      - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
      - Relevant experience leading cross-functional programmes or projects using project-management methodologies
      - Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
      - Advanced or master’s degree in safety, in-depth knowledge of safety management auditing,
      - NEBOSH diploma or equivalent,
      - Experience in ISO auditing systems especially ISO 45001, ISO 14001 or ISO 19011,
      - Experience working in a corporate environment with technical teams, ability to influence different stakeholders remotely,
      - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules,
      - Proven work experience as a team leader,
