DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a EU Planner to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Produce Strategic / Tactical plans through routing systems ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective
• Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels
• Data Analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans
• Work closely with all stakeholders within both JLR & DHL to ensure that the LLP provides the Customer with a best in class supply chain solution
• Daily data integrity checks on to ensure collection profile alignment with vendors and JLR systems

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• A good degree of computer literacy, with a comprehensive working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong organisation, planning and process work methods
• Confidence in decision making & considering how it affect's other areas
• Accurate management of network changes and additional / cancelled collections on a daily basis
• Excellent communication skills (at all levels) – good listener and effective in communicating ideas to support the development of good Customer relationships
