What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct educational outreach to providers via phone and email
- Review outpatient evaluation and management medical records and provide feedback to physicians
- Engage in inbound/outbound education via phone
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1+ years of experience with E&M medical coding
- 1+ years of experience in interacting with physicians in a medical setting
- Professional coder certification (CPC, COC, CPC-P, CCS)
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of Outpatient Facility coding experience
- ICD-10 experience
- Experience with various encoder systems
