Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Assist with concept, planning, logistics and execution of on-site events. Develop and submit recommendations for the enhancement and expansion of existing events that drive incremental resort visits and align with the Resort brand.
- Develop and execute creative marketing and communications strategies to promote events:
- a. Updating Palisades Tahoe website & 3rd Party event websites
- b. Poster, banner, and signage distribution
- c. Working with digital marketing team to incorporate event promotion into email and social media channels
- Create and distribute detailed production timelines and event sheets.
- Book entertainment, act as POC, and ensure check requests/expenses are submitted in a timely manner
- Facilitate smooth transitions between normal resort operations and event operations to minimize event impact on guest experience
- Assist in scheduling and staffing levels for all events
- Assist in the coordination and execution of on-site 3rd party photo & video shoots.
- Assist the Senior Sponsorship Manager on executing resort sponsorship agreements. Track all deliverables and compile into end of season recaps to present to brand.
- Leverage and incorporate existing resort partnerships for partner brand integration in Palisades Tahoe owned events
- Coordinate on-site sponsor pop-up activations
- Execute on-site sponsor giveaways
- Highly organized with extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
- Punctual and reliable
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral & written
- Proficient in using the latest versions of Microsoft Office and knowledge of basic social media platforms.
- Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness
- Able to understand and follow verbal & written communications
- High energy, is fun and creative and a self-starter, inspired by ideas and team-oriented
- Have a neat and clean appearance in compliance with company grooming standards
- Ables to manage multiple projects and assignments on a daily basis

- Intermediate/advanced skiing or snowboarding ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Recreation or related field
- At least 2 years of work in the event planning and/or account management field
- Experience in a customer service role, or in the ski resort industry

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Job Summary: The Event & Sponsorship Coordinator position is responsible for the assistance of developing, implementing, and communicating all aspects of event programming and resort sponsorship deliverables in support of Palisades Tahoe’s goals and objectives. In addition, the role will support the execution of third-party events and brand activations at the resort to create a lively and cohesive Base Area and mountain experience. The position includes budgetary responsibilities and will ensure the right brand enforcing events are attracted to and hosted at the resort. Ensures innovative and creative strategies are in place. The prime responsibility is to execute events that add value, increase animation, drive incremental guest visits, increase revenue, and ensure efficient use of staff, resources and facilities. This position will not work on competitive athletic events, like ski races, but rather brand activations, base area events and some non-competitive, on-mountain activations.

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Base hourly pay range: $18.68 - $29.38 per hour

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
