This iconic hotel features 1,628 guestrooms and 320,000 square feet of event space with stunning Pacific Ocean and city views. We are looking for the very best to join our AAA 4-Diamond Hotel, featured in the Top 10 of all Meeting Hotels in the United States per Cvent.

      The Event Concierge / Event Coordinator is a dual role position to assist in the planning and execution of all events. This person must demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation and proactive planning skill, must have a keen focus on detail and strive to consistently go above and beyond for our meeting / event planners. This position will involve assisting several Event Planning Managers with planning the event, detailing the event and becoming the liaison between the Event Planning Manager and the meeting/event planner. This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests. The responsibilities also require the ability to resolve guest concerns that may arise.

      The Event Concierge/Coordinator will have a detailed knowledge of the hotel meeting facilities, group dynamics and event details. Your time is split between an operational position (primarily on the floor) and working in in the office. This role works diligently to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.

      SHIFT: Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

      WAGE: The wage for this position is $27.58. This is the pay Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
