      Location: Charlotte, NC

      Job Description:
      Supports the events specialist responsible for planning, organizing, and executing corporate events that align with organizational goals and creates positive experiences for attendees. Events include customer meetings, business conferences/events, and team-building activities. The role requires organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

      Responsibilities:
      • Supports meetings/events at Client , headquarters. Meetings include customer visits, community outreach events, internal meetings involving more than 50 people, and onboarding for interns and other large groups.
      • Support includes reserving meeting space, coordinating with facilities team for room set-up, working with café on catering, registration process for external visitors, and housing /transportation needs for external visitors.
      • Supports events specialist with proofing event documentation (banquet event orders, production schedules, run of shows)
      • Supports events specialist with reviewing and paying invoices.

      Experience:
      HSD required
      Minimum 1-3 years experience in event planning--organization, coordinating events, reviewing contracts. Any industry--wedding, special events, hospitality, banquets.
