- Assist the team in completing the tasks and activities related to all corporate event projects for CFG and its individual business lines. This includes conferences, meetings/events (virtual, hybrid and in person), executive town hall meetings, and other projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a high level of professionalism.
- Assist event managers by participating in planning meetings and providing logistical support as needed.
- Support the execution of smaller-scale events and meetings under the direction of the event lead.
- Create and manage registration sites and RSVPs. (Familiarity with Swoogo system a plus.)
- Manage financial administration, including processing invoices and budget reconciliation.
- Manage event logistics including coordination of food & beverage, room sets, audio/visual, transportation, hotel(s) and on-site support.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event coordination.
- Maintain and order event supplies and resources.
- Monitor and respond to messages in the Corporate Events mailbox.
- Send calendar invitations and track RSVPs.
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, communications or event planning
- Superior project management skills including planning, coordinating, and organization; ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
- Experience with virtual event tools (ie MS Teams, Web Ex and Zoom).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Word), Excel proficiency is imperative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and thorough follow-up
- Ability self-manage time and priorities to deliver quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work well independently and as part of a team and embrace and contribute to a positive work environment.
