Event Coordinator
New YorkAs a Barclays Event Coordinator you will manage, develop and execute a diverse range of events to the highest standard using excellent organization skills, innovation and creativity. You will ensure activity is aligned with the business objectives, policies & procedures, marketing & communications strategies and our corporate narrative. Your role works across BI delivering events, from small to high-end conferences and bespoke VIP offerings. Working on end to end solo projects and in project teams.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $80,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $95,000The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.What will you be doing?
• Preparing and managing event budgets and end to end finance process
• Managing event timelines and project plans as and when required
• Delegating management including invitation production and guest list management reporting
• Speaking and hosting management including speaker suggestions, collation of presentations, speaker briefings and accommodation requirements if applicable
• Building and maintaining exceptional and effective relationships with our preferred suppliers
• Communicating with internal hosts to recommend event activity, review their event requirements and maintain communication throughout the planning and execution
• Ensuring accuracy and excellent attention to detail at all times
• Exhibiting exceptional admin & organizational skills/ability to adhere to policiesWhat we’re looking for:
• Professional experience running end to end events, including budget, stakeholder and logistics management alongside industry knowledge and experience
• Professional experience of producing Virtual events utilizing other platforms (ex: Talk Point, Open Exchange or similar)
• Proficient in Microsoft skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Three+ years’ experience working with clients/stakeholders in event executionSkills that will help you in the role:
• Proven skills and experience in negotiation and project management
• Exceptional team player, proactive, responsive and enthusiastic
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) ability to guide others
• Effective time management – Manage your own time and work volumesWhere will you be working?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness centre and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
