      About Sky View Observatory

      Legends designed, built and operates Sky View Observatory (SVO), a beautiful attraction located on the 73rd floor of the Columbia Center, Seattle’s tallest building. SVO offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the city and our surroundings, including Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Range, Puget Sound, Lake Washington and more. Tickets are sold in our Box Office, our website and across a variety of partner websites. We host the public daily, but we also host a variety of private and public events.

      The Role

      Sales Support

        • Assist with managing and coordinating all details for booked events, group sales, and corporate functions.
        • Handle client inquiries and ensure to booked details are followed up on, ensuring clients’ needs are met in alignment with existing agreements.
        • Maintain CRM systems (Salesforce, Tripleseat) with client details, event schedules, and sales data.
        • Generate reports on booked events, sales performance, and revenue tracking for the Sales & Marketing Manager.

      Event logistics and coordination

        • Coordinate event logistics, including vendor communication, catering arrangements, and client-specific requests for booked events
        • Create BEO and Run of Show documents and ensure that all departments are informed of event details and changes.
        • Assist with tracking expenses related to events, ensuring that costs stay within established budgets.

      Event Day Support

        • Provide operational support on event days by ensuring all tasks are completed according to the event plan.
        • Communicate with internal teams (operations, catering, facilities) to ensure that all elements of the event are executed smoothly.
        • Serve as the primary contact for clients on event days, handling any last-minute changes or additional requests.

      Qualifications

      Education & Experience:

      • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred, particularly in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
      • Experience:
        • 1-3 years of experience in administrative support, sales, event coordination, and/or marketing.
        • Experience in the hospitality, tourism, or attractions industry is a plus.
        • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Tripleseat) is desirable.

      Skills:

        • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
        • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and keep track of various booked events and client requests.
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
        • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Problem-Solving:
        • Ability to address any operational issues quickly and effectively

      Other Requirements:

      • Ability to lift and transport items (10-30 pounds), occasionally up to 50 pounds.
      • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.

      Compensation & Benefits:

      • Hourly Wage: $26/hour
      • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, paid time off
      • Work Schedule: Full-time, flexible to support events and sales goals.
