      Job Description & Summary

      As an Event Manager, you are responsible for providing smooth, first-class, and innovative event and conference services in the brand new PwC Experience Center, at a premium location in the city of Zurich. It can hold up to 80 participants and we will host a variety of dynamic and innovative events per month (collaborative workshops, design thinking / agile events, technology immersions, hybrid co-creation events, etc).

      Your Impact

      • Assume responsibility and accountability for the overall management of the entire event booking process, including the coordination of key operations (event management advisory, facility management, catering, IT-support).
      • Make the events run smoothly and with a high-end quality and manage various service teams, as well as all relevant processes.
      • Provide professional end-to-end event management services to ensure high-quality event services, steering all event service activities within the specified budget and tight timeframes.
      • Ensure the request for events (RFE) requirements are fully understood early in the process and a clear response strategy and solution is defined and communicated.
      • Effectively balance forward planning and structured bookings with a need to respond to high-profile, strategically important events which may be required at very short notice.
      • Apply effective stakeholder management for seamless event service communication and organization and lead debriefings to ensure lessons learned are implemented, along with performing event pipeline management.

      Your Skill Set

      • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, economics or completed education in hospitality with a minimum of 2 years operational experience in event management, business development, marketing & communications or in a hospitality position, preferably in an international organization. Experience in leadership role is a plus.
      • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage the inflow of requests for events; experience in seminar and event bookings is preferred.
      • Strong organizational skills with excellent communication abilities, positive can-do attitude, ability to think out of the box.
      • Highly service- and client-oriented and passionate person who enjoys working independently and proactively in a dynamic and international environment, always meeting the high expectations of your internal clients at senior level and create additional value as an expert.
      • Motivated team player with a high level of commitment with proven leadership experience, demonstrating high social competence.
      • Fluent in both, English and German.
