- Develop and implement event marketing strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Conduct market research to identify event opportunities and trends.
- Define event objectives, target audience, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Event Coordination and Implementation.
- Plan and manage all aspects of event logistics; including venue selection, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, product, PR, Etc.) to ensure cohesive event delivery.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of event materials (invitations, agendas, signage, promotional items).
- Other Duties as assigned.
- Design and implement promotional campaigns to drive event attendance and engagement.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to develop compelling event marketing collateral.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost effective allocation of resources.
- Track event expenses and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Supervise on-site event activities: Set-up, registrations, and tear-down.
- Ensure a seamless attendee experience by addressing issues and managing event staff.
- Collect feedback and analyze event success for continuous improvement.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess even effectiveness and ROI.
- Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes; attendance, engagement, and feedback.
- Utilize insights for future event planning and marketing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field – or 7 years of experience in community event planning and strategy – is required.
- Minimum 3-45 years of experience in event marketing or a related role.
- Demonstrated history of planning and delivering successful events.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in event management software and marketing tools (CRM, email marketing platforms, or social media).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
- Ability to lift and move event materials and equipment is required.
Description
The Event Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that enhance Habitat Omaha’s brand presence, engage stakeholders, and drive business growth. This role involves strategic planning, creative thinking, and meticulous execution to ensure the success of various events such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and organizational meetings.
