      PMI is looking to hire an Event Marketing Specialist. This individual will assist with the creative ideation, development, and execution of Legal Adult Nicotine User (LANU) 21+ consumer event programs and engagements as part of the omni-channel brand activation. They will collaborate cross-functionally with the Brand Communication, Digital Marketing and Consumer Experience team to achieve business objectives (e.g. brand awareness, Net Promoter Score, etc.). They will also help to build our smoke free product as an iconic brand through events and consumer events in compliance with PMI policies and regulatory requirements.

      Your ‘day to day’:
      •Assist the Manager of Events (Supervisor) with developing an event calendar for the year, with focus on food festivals, music/concerts, racing events and fashion events.
      •Work with third party agency/vendors, and supervise the team in managing activation in LAMPs (Legal Age Meeting Places), such as bars, restaurants etc.
      •Develop ideas for activation mechanics, with solid understanding of the LANU 21+ consumer audience, brand fundamentals, PMI policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
      •Assist with tracking and reporting of key performance indicators during events and consumer engagement activities.
      •Manage external agencies during event execution, ensuring compliance with PMI policies and regulatory framework. Engage with external agencies to ensure permits, licenses etc. are in place for events.
      •Work with consumer insights team to inform activation ideas/platforms, taking into account LANU 21+ passion points; Provide edu-tainment opportunities for LANU to establish the heated tobacco category and IQOS as a brand.
      •Assist in planning and organization of activities, including retro-planning, etc to meet event activation deadlines. Align with internal stakeholders on activation concepts, preparation of materials to support the events, and agency resources (e.g. staffing) to execute the event.

      Who we’re looking for:
      •Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as marketing, business or communications.
      •Understanding of the FMCG industry, preferably in marketing, sales, distribution, retail
      •At least 3 years of experience in similar positions, either on client or agency side.
      •Strong communicator: collaboration skills, able to organize and structure activities to meet delivery schedules.
      •Able to juggle multiple priorities and deliver against tight deadlines. Performs well under pressure, while managing various cross-functional parties during event execution.
      •Creative and consumer-first mindset.
      •Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

      Travel: Up to 50%

      Annual Base Salary Range: $84,000-115,500
