Job Description

- Lead internal efforts with site planning, vendor management, logistics, and overall event management for Chiefs Football games, Chiefs internal events, Arrowhead Events concerts & large-scale ticketed events.
- Ensure supervision and execution of event operations for all events including event oversight and resource coordination as needed.
- Responsible for support of Chiefs game day production notes.
- Responsible for management & development of Concert production notes.
- Responsible for event recap notes & internal collaboration efforts to provide solutions to challenges.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, and training manuals for areas of oversight and institute culture of process and accountability.
- Develop inventory database of all department assets for parking services and related projects.
- Support Ford Tailgate District including Partnership needs, Entertainment, and layout as needed.
- Support event operation and assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Chiefs management.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in large venue event or logistics management, including direct supervision of personnel and 3rd party vendors, conflict management, parking best practices, and performance management.
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel management experience with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to be creative and seek proactive solutions to problems and situations before and/or after they arise with little or no supervision.
- Demonstrated experience with budget oversight and general accounting/finance.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Concept 3D and facility software programs strongly preferred.
- Experience creating and delivering successful training programs.
- Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with staff and peers.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Moderate to difficult.
- Must be able to walk long distances.
- Must be able to lift/carry objects weighing 20+ lbs.
