      POSITION PROFILE: Event Services Seasonal Assistant
      DEPARTMENT: Event Operations
      REPORTS TO: Event Services Manager
      STATUS: Seasonal, Hourly

      JOB OVERVIEW: The Kansas City Chiefs Seasonal Assistant Program is designed for highly motivated and committed people who wish to build upon their college education with practical work experience in the fast-paced, result driven world of the NFL.       Final candidates will be selected to participate in the interview process with the department’s hiring manager(s). HR and the hiring manager(s) will reach out once interviews are concluded and a decision has been made.

      The Event Services Seasonal Assistant is primarily responsible for providing a standard of excellent service to gameday event staff by assisting with the administrative support and day-to-day operations of the Event Operations Department. In addition, the Event Services Seasonal Assistant is responsible for assisting with the management of our Non-Profit Volunteer program and major events outside of game days (All-Staff Training, Internal Events, etc.).
      ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
      • Ensure all fans attending events at Arrowhead Stadium have the best possible experience under the Chiefs’ Mission Statement.
      • Assist in the planning and execution of staff rewards and recognition.
      • Prepare staff areas of the stadium for gameday needs.
      • Collaborate with internal departments on gameday deliveries, giveaways, vendor communication, etc.
      • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Chiefs management.
      COMPETENCIES: Must meet the following minimum requirements:
      • Consistent, punctual and reliable attendance.
      • Available to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and requested overtime. Specifically, you must be available for ALL home games including occasional Thursday and Monday night games as well as the day before gameday.
      • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, Publisher, Word.
      • Maintain a neat, professional image and demeanor as outlined by the Organization.
      • Possesses positive attitude and strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.
      • Desktop Publishing experience needed; Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
      • Must have a valid driver’s license.
      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
      • Moderate to difficult
      • Able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the Stadium for prolonged periods of time during games and set-up days; able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
