- Assists in the planning and participation of Sales Events.
- Responsible for registration, logistics and execution of North American trade events and company-sponsored sales events including but not limited to sales meetings, seminars, top account events, familiarization trip, ship tours, industry conferences and all brands group-sponsored events.
- Evaluating promotional opportunities, maintaining sales promotion budget and assure that company resources are managed and used within budget guidelines.
- Attending trade shows, conferences and seminars at sea as needed. Schedule participants for trade shows and conferences.
- Developing new promotional products and gifts; managing the acquisition and inventory of promotional and branded items for use by North American Sales; and providing overall promotional support.
- Managing and coordinating all North American ship tours and special events in cooperation with shipboard and shoreside management teams.
- Developing and managing annual North America Trade and Sales Events calendar in conjunction with senior management and field sales teams.
- Coordinating between North American Sales and departments company-wide to foster greater communication and collaboration.
- Developing and submitting F&R’s related to at-sea sales events to Revenue Management.
- Facilitating timely approvals and payments of event invoices via Markview.
- Developing event registrations, RSVPs, land pages and post-event survey results via Cvent technology.
- Working in collaboration with Carnival Corporation, all brands event planning team.
- Additionally, may be assigned any other duties deemed necessary by manager, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the team.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in years of work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of event management
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in positions in the area of customer service or sales.
- Experience in the travel and hospitality industry preferred.
- Experience working in a high-volume call center is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills: proven ability to positively interact with individuals at all levels.
- Possesses a track record of personal goal achievement and support to department objectives.
- Possesses strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused despite distractions.
- Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and a quick learner.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Computer proficiency with Windows and aptitude to learn other systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all team members of the organization.
- Ability to train and guide others on administrative processes.

- Base hourly range: $19.18 to $25.91 an hour. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
