Event Sales Specialist - San Antonio

Job Description
- Req#: 140327
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all of Santikos’ venues to include movie theaters, restaurants, dine-in theaters, bars, sports lounges, gaming, retail sales, group events, and meetings.
- Contact current and potential events clients to develop relationships and market our event services through direct sales calls, networking, site visits, and other sales and marketing activities for your assigned location(s). Expected to spend at least 50% of work time outside of Santikos venues making potential client calls to business sites.
- Conduct site tours/visits with potential clients
- Negotiate and book events with guidance from the Business Development Manager, Event Coordinator, and theater teams to meet revenue goals.
- Manage an effective CRM to enable the Events Coordinator to effectively plan and communicate with both the guest(s) and theater teams.
- Occasionally work events on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed and/or directed by the Business Development Manager.
- Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Business Development Manager
- Minimum of 3 years of proven successful sales and marketing experience in professional organization(s) meeting revenue goals
- Marketing and event planning experience in large-scale entertainment, family entertainment centers, hospitality, or related industry
- Strong work ethic and able to self-direct to complete work timely and satisfactorily.
- Able to work flexible schedule to meet client schedules.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional time management and follow-up skills
- Professional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Assist in the expansion of Santikos brand awareness for all Santikos venues. Grow events revenue and meet monthly sales goals at our theater-centric entertainment complexes. Responsible for direct sales and marketing to businesses, schools, churches, and other large groups.
