- Scheduling, inventory and other managerial duties as assigned.
- Oversee that ordering is completed weekly and communicate product alterations or substitutions as needed
- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently served according to Geronimo Hospitality standards
- Achieve restaurant objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and improvement of the training programs and policies/procedures as needed.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
- Collaborate with General Manager/Assistant General Manager/Restaurant Manager as needed.
- Introduce yourself to contact person of event, make sure their requests are clear and properly executed by staff. Ensure staff follows BEO requirements.
- Assist with continual up-selling of client and event throughout the working relationship
- Ensure set up of banquet room(s) including linen and china
- All prep work must be completed prior to start time
- Maintain clear and open communication between all FOH and BOH staff
- Check tallies of all consumed beverages and food items and any AV equipment used for event. Ring out BEO when necessary and provide the copy to client for payment.
- Once banquet is complete, all equipment must be removed from space and placed in their proper locations
- Respect all your co-workers and managers
- Have fun at work; leave baggage at the door; come to work with a positive attitude ready and willing to help create a fun and memorable experience for our guests
- Work areas must be cleaned, and all side duties must be completed before leaving
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High level of professionalism
- Knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least 1 years of front-of-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
- Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office;

- Food Manager and Beverage Operator Certification within 90 days of employment
- U.S. Work Authorization (required).

As the Event Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation. This role will assist in the development of training, placing weekly orders, and assist with interviewing and hiring.
