Job Description
- Req#: 49204100
- Review invoices for accuracy, and processing payment for them in a timely manner
- Prepare final billing according to client policies and internal procedures
- Responsible tracking progress on meeting and event reconciliations and join weekly finance call to update finance team
- Partner with client to manage and maintain post event reconciliation reporting processes, data collection procedures, general compliance rules and cost savings / avoidance data
- Resolve any discrepancies with suppliers and clients
- Perform audit and file close out procedures on every meeting
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in order to meet numerous deadlines and project demands
- Communication – written and verbal and a customer service mindset. You will build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
- Advanced level of computer skills required to manage databases, pivot tables, utilise macros. Experience working with databases and web applications
- Analysing data, not afraid to question, problem solve
- Comfortable working to Service Level Agreements, Standard Operating Procedures and adhering to compliance deadlines
- Cvent budgeting experience

About the role:
We are looking for an Events Finance Assistant / Project Accountant to join one of our NEW client dedicated teams. The Events Finance Assistant / Project Accountant prepares and completes final billings and monthly requirements for this client's meetings and events activity. Working closely with wider members of the team you will provide data audit reports and support with payment card reconciliations. You will have experience from working in events with budget and reconciliation expertise, or you may have a finance / accounts experience which will include reconciliation billing and financial analysis. You are comfortable working independently but also happy to jump in and support your team colleagues when needed. You will have strong excel and database skills – comfortable with macros and pivot tables and working in different currencies. You may have previous experience of finance or Event Project management systems.
