  Job Title: EVS Aide/Janitor - Mission Viejo $24/hr.

  Job Description

  As an EVS Aide, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms and common areas in a hospital setting. You will be trained on proper floor care techniques, including stripping, buffing, and waxing.

  Work Environment:

  2nd shift, 2pm-10:30pm, Includes weekends.

  Responsibilities

  • Clean rooms after patient discharges, including bathrooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness in patient's rooms, including trash removal, cleaning linen, and mopping floors.
  • Perform laundry tasks as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and other hospital staff in a hospital environment.
  • Clean common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways.
  • Read through and complete work orders such as trash removal and spill requests.

  Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to perform janitorial duties, including mopping and sweeping.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient English speaking skills.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year of high-volume experience in settings such as hospitals, hotels, schools, universities, office buildings, sports arenas, or amusement parks preferred but not required.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
