      Who we are

      Exchange Traded Derivatives Operations & Global Collateral Operations (ETD & GCO Ops) are responsible for post-execution trade clearing and product lifecycle management and the exchange of collateral to reduce counterparty credit risk. The team provide front-to back support for a broad range of clients (hedge funds, market makers, trading firms, advisers, and investment banks), Global Market products and businesses including:

      • Futures and Options & OTC Cleared (F&O)
      • Prime Brokerage (PB)
      • Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM)
      • OTC Bi-lateral Derivatives (OTC)
      • Fixed Income Bi-Lateral Repo and To Be Announced (FI)

      Role Introduction

      Chicago H5 role exists for highly motivated, industry established, professionals within the AMRS F&O and OTC Clearing Operations Team (85) who are looking to further expand already successful careers by joining our Futures & Options and OTC Clearing Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Team (Team Size 6).

      Role Description

      • Manage the production integrity, review, and submission of the AMRS regulatory reports (17) in a complete, accurate and timely manner in conformance with regulatory instructions.
      • Create and maintain procedures for all assigned regulatory reports including but not limited to the report production, execution of controls, change management, error escalation and issue management
      • Maintain evidence of controls execution and control effectiveness against established thresholds
      • Document any transformations occurring within the reporting process
      • Ensuring all errors are assessed for root cause and impact, escalation of all risks and issues on all reports to the Report Owners within the Line of Business.
      • Partners with Technology, Operations Strategy & Front Office associates and Industry bodies to drive sustainable, scalable process optimization / change.
      • Works closely with other managers within Global Market Operations, Compliance and Regulatory Interpretation teams to ensure consistent awareness of changing F&O and OTC Clearing Regulatory environment.
      • Establish operating model roles and responsibilities assigned to Report Preparers, Quality Assurance / Completeness, Change, Governance, Performance Analytics, Process Design/Review. Incident Management.

      Required Skills

      • Futures industry experience working for a FCM, Exchange, Clearing House, Regulator or Financial Industry Consultant.
      • Demonstrates process manager excellence, having managed processes in the past delivering superior tangible / quantifiable results.
      • Has experience processing financial or non-financial regulatory reporting and is familiar with AMRS regulatory rule books.
      • Has the ability to assess regulatory rule book guidelines and existing data transport procedures to strengthen and evolve control effectiveness standards.
      • Exhibit the ability to switch between macro and micro-operating principles to design, lead and adjust the control operating model as the need arises.
      • Understand and adapt to regulatory and industry change (with any CFTC, SEC, NFA, FCA, PRA Transaction Reporting, Client Money working knowledge).
      • Proven track record of achieving results optimizing resources and driving efficiencies.
      • Excellent communication, effective with subordinates, peers and senior management
      • Strength in identifying and implementing solutions for process improvement
      • Mentor and develop staff, ensure excellent performance in their current role and rotation through functions
      • Experience using Exchange Traded Derivative Sub-Ledger software platforms (CD, BRM, GMI, XTP)
      • Experience with derivative clearing middleware systems, Trade Clearing, Global Seals, ClearVision, Prysm
      • Experience using 3rd Party Vendor software (Droit, Duco) and AI analytics (Tableau, Alteryx, Python) and Msoft Access, Excel, Powerpoint.
