High School diploma and a minimum of 8 years additional education and/or experience in the administrative professional field
Computer skills required include advanced expertise in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel) and intranet/internet proficiency
Experience managing executive calendars
Experience with scheduling travel, processing expenses and adhering to policies
Ability to swiftly adapt to new tools/technologies to drive efficiency and organization across the global team
Experience participating and hosting in-person and remote Video Teleconference meetings (i.e. Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
Experience with Concur, and Workday
Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret Clearance
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional certification centric to administrative discipline

As a valued member of the leadership team, the Executive Assistant is the center of day-to-day office operations and will be welcomed into a team environment where input is invited, growth is encouraged, and mutual support is the standard. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to maintain contact and work effectively with all levels of executive management, employees and internal/ external stakeholders. It also requires that the correct client focus be projected at all times.
This individual must be articulate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have a heightened sense of confidentiality while performing a wide variety of sensitive administrative and support tasks for the Launch Vehicles VP, Deputy, and leadership team. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, able to independently execute tasks, will be expected to multi-task and balance daily activities with managing projects to completion. Assists in maintaining organizations collaboration sites and activities. Assists in maintaining organizations collaboration sites and activities. Provide back up support for the admin team in the Launch Vehicle leadership area.
The use of good judgment, discretion, and uncompromising standards of high quality, integrity, and performance are essential while handling confidential situations. This position may require occasional nonstandard work hours in support of business schedules. Limited travel may be required.
This position performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to director’s assignment. Maintains office supply system. Plans travel and prepares and submits expense reports.Basic Qualifications:
