What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Director and leadership of the Translational Research Institute (TRI)
- Manage the Director’s calendar, travel arrangements, presentations, and correspondence
- Develop and edit faculty biosketches, graphics, tables, and figures for federal grant submissions
- Coordinate special projects and events for the Director and TRI leadership
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, problem-solving, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field plus 4 years of administrative support experience, preferably at the executive level, or high school diploma/GED plus 8 years of administrative support experience
- Proven experience in executive-level administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel) and videoconferencing tools (i.e., Zoom, WebEx)
- Detail-oriented and self-directed with strong multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a healthcare or research environment
- Familiarity with grant submission processes and requirements
- Strong graphic design skills for creating presentations and documents
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Previous experience supporting high-level executives
