- Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements efficiently.
- Handle and prioritize incoming communications, emails, and correspondence.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for meetings and engagements.
- Ensure timely follow-ups on action items and key business priorities.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the President and internal/external stakeholders.
- Provide scheduling and administrative support to the leadership team when required.
- Assist in coordinating executive meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting key takeaways.
- Support cross-functional collaboration between different departments.
- Organize and manage executive meetings, board meetings, and company-wide events.
- Handle logistics, venue bookings, and preparation of relevant materials.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes and follow up on key action points.
- Maintain confidential records and documents on behalf of the President.
- Liaise with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure smooth administrative operations.
- Manage special projects and initiatives assigned by the President.
- Serve as a liaison between the President and internal teams, board members, and external partners.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Foster a positive and professional company culture through strong communication.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- 8+ years experience as an Executive Assistant in a corporate setting
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Ability to handle complex, high-pressure situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Located in Philadelphia with the ability to work onsite on occasion

Your Role:
As the Executive Assistant (EA) to the President of Surface Solutions, a division of EMD, you will provide administrative and operational support to the President of a newly independent, mid-sized materials industry company with 1,200 employees across 20 countries. This role will ensure the President’s day-to-day activities run smoothly, including travel and calendar management, communications, meeting preparation and coordination, and strategic support. Additionally, the EA will provide secondary support to the leadership team as needed.
This role is Remote with EST time zone work hours, and flexibility for after hours as needed.

Pay Range for this position - $83,900 - $125,900
