  Job Description

  At Village Medical, we're looking for a Exercise Physiologist to help us transform the way primary care is delivered and how patients are served.   COULD THIS BE YOU

  You are a detail-oriented Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about patient safety, experience, and driving positive change in healthcare to improve patient outcomes.

  How You Will Get Things Done:

  • Supervise and monitor patients during stress testing, treadmill and dobutamine stress echo’s
  • Maintaining records and analyzing data
  • Follows Cardiovascular Lab protocols for patient assessment, preparation, ECG recordings / monitoring, test performance, test end points, and recovery monitoring. Notifies appropriate medical staff of abnormal pre-test conditions and test results.
  • Documents pertinent information and applies preliminary test results for physician interpretation.
  • Manage Cardiac Monitors

  How You Will Build Trust:

  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and effective communication skills to build relationships throughout the organization.
  • Communicate unexpected schedule delays to patients in a timely and empathetic manner and provide assistance to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction during any delay.

  How You Will Innovate:

  • Serve as a Village brand ambassador, building strong relationships with patients, families, caregivers, and community leaders to enhance our reputation and visibility within the community.

  EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE CHANGE

  • Exercise Physiologist or Cardiac Stress Lab Technician (or equivalent experience)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology/Science or Biomedical field.
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Experience in stress testing and cardiac rehab preferred.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of indications for various types of stress tests and methods of testing
  • Preferred Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification.
  • Proficiency in EKG interpretation as well as manual blood pressure.
