      Your Exercise Therapist responsibilities:

      You will play a significant role in a multi-discipline team setting to enhance the rehabilitation experience and outcomes for our clients. We are seeking individuals who are interested in delivering leading edge clinical services and consistently focus on innovation and creativity in customer service, while always treating clients with fairness and respect. Some of your duties may include delivering rehabilitation programs, completing functional capacity evaluations (FCEs), and services at Employer worksites. We are also seeking individuals who are willing to change teams, learn new skills and work on specialized program teams such as: brain injury, traumatic psychological injury or post-COVID. You will provide frontline assessment, interventions, and education to our clients. Your ability to work well in an interdisciplinary setting is an asset. Duties may vary according to the program area.

      Your experience and skills:

      • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education/Kinesiology or equivalent.
      • Registration (in good standing) with the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA) or eligible for registration with the AKA. Must have AKA within six months of date of hire.
      • Computer experience and strong interpersonal skills complemented by well-developed written and verbal communication abilities.
      • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in occupational rehabilitation.
      • Reliability and time management skills are integral to your success in this position.
      • A valid Alberta Drivers’ License and the ability to travel overnight within the province as well as independent travel to complete off-site services is required.

      Salary: Grade H4, HSAA Start Rate: $73,403.16 to Job Rate: $92,993.66 per annum.

      These are temporary full-time position(s) for approximately one year with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. Final candidates for this position will be required to undergo a security clearance.
