- Oversees artwork transportation, packing and unpacking, inspection, handling and condition reporting, and documentation as assigned.
- Assist with preparation of projects and loans for travel to other institutions.
- Communicate regularly with Facilities, Security, Tech Services and other Wexner depts.
- Handle all rights and reproduction requests and loan requests for art objects in collection.
- Coordinate photography of artwork and distribution of Wexner Center publications.

Wexner Center for Arts | ExhibitionsWork closely with the Senior Registrar and exhibition department staff to facilitate rotating exhibitions of contemporary art from conception through dispersal. Responsible as directed to coordinate loans, insurance, shipping, packing and crating, and customs arrangements for domestic and international exhibitions with a large variety of private and institutional lenders as assigned. Oversees care of artwork including packing/unpacking, inspection, condition reporting, installation and documentation; Organizes details for exhibitions and collection including budget estimates and tracking, meetings, file organization, data entry; Serves as lead for key assigned exhibitions; manages loan requests for the permanent collection with the Senior Registrar. Manage university required administrative databases, working closely with WCA colleagues and vendors through the entire purchasing and payment process. Act as fine art courier when required.
Successful applicant must attend weekly exhibitions meetings and assist in maintaining gallery and vault spaces; must exhibit excellent communication skills and will be required to work long hours including evenings, weekends and possible holidays as needed; requires successful completion of background check prior to start date.

Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Education/Experience:
Required: Proficient verbal and written communication and organizational skills required;
Desired: Experience in museum registration including insuring, transporting and art handling preferred; knowledge of contemporary art and knowledge of computerized collections database management desired.

Duties Description:
70% In consultation with Senior Registrar, assist with the coordination and care of artwork for contemporary art exhibitions and permanent collection including but not limited to:
20% Manage database and Registrar files for exhibitions and permanent collection.
5% Monitor humidity and temperature ranges in the galleries and art storage areas as well as integrated pest management and security procedures.
5% Other duties as assigned. Some driving and travel may be required. Position requires flexible hours.
