- Build and maintain experience studies for mortality, persistency, and waiver of premium; prepare and deliver experience studies to study consumers efficiently and effectively
- Monitor and analyze experience and associated reinsurance consequences (e.g., rate changes, recaptures) and KPIs (e.g., historical and projected reinsurer loss ratios and profitability), analyze and explain the development of mortality and other risk drivers as well as the performance of reinsurance treaties
- Assist in process modernization for experience studies, modernize existing processes and procedures for experience studies and other aspects of the actuarial department as needed
- Assist with reinsurer experience data requests, assist in management of reinsurance management programs
- Knowledge of term life products
- Understanding of experience analysis, assumption setting and the impact of reinsurance on pricing.
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems and alternative ways to solve those problems
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with actuarial software applications is desired (preferably GGY-AXIS), experience with PowerBI and server-grade databases and associated ecosystems; experience with process automation tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Actuarial Science, Math, Finance, or Other Quantitative Discipline
- 1-2 years experience in experience studies
- 2-3 years actuarial experience in the life insurance industry
- Successfully completed 4 actuarial exams

About this Position
The person in this role plays an essential part in the monitoring and management of Primerica’s life insurance product offerings by performing experience studies and reinsurance analysis.
Additionally, the person in this role is proactive in monitoring and evaluating the performance of existing reinsurance treaties.
The person in this role will interact heavily with Valuation, Reinsurance Administration, Legal, and other departments and teams within the organization as well as third party reinsurers and reinsurance brokers.
This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite in the Duluth, Georgia office and remotely multiple days each week.
The estimated salary range for this role is: $100K - $135KResponsibilities & Qualifications
