What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Inspect, estimate, negotiate, and evaluate 1st and 3rd party auto physical damage claims
- Partner with Claim Professionals to ensure optimal claim resolution
- Prepare accurate vehicle damage appraisals according to guidelines
- Negotiate claim settlements and initiate payments to customers
- Review coverage and apply policy conditions to claims
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Degree or GED with at least one year of auto appraisal experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong technical background in auto repair and terminology
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word
- Ability to participate in Auto Catastrophe response
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, or Technical School Degree
- State appraiser and claim handling licenses
- Two years of auto appraisal experience
- Experience with insurance carriers
- Competency in mathematical and negotiation skills
