We are looking for experienced Finish Grader Operators to work seasonally in a full-time capacity with the potential of becoming a year- round full-time position. The Finish Grader Operator will work on projects in various locations throughout Edmonton. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the following:

• Safe operation of equipment such as finish graders and other base equipment;
• Working with minimal supervision;
• Performing daily safety and maintenance checks;
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• You are required to possess a minimum 2 years of experience in operation of finish graders and related equipment, for example, the ability to finish grade within a 2 cm tolerance;
• You are required to have extensive road building related heavy equipment operator experience;
• You must possess knowledge of the safe operation of equipment and municipal road building industry;
• You must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with air or above with a clean drivers abstract;
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions are required;
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is highly desirable;
• You are required to demonstrate a willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends;
• Valid safety certifications are required.

Additional Information:

• This has the potential to be a year-round position;
• This position is eligible for over-time;
• Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required;
• Training will be provided for various activities;
