  Schedule: The schedule for this position will change week to week.

  Pay: $20.40/hour

  Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Flex Security Officer will be monitoring and patrolling different client sites on a variety of schedules. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Strong and reliable performance will earn the Officer consideration for assignment to supervisory or other leadership posts. Ideally, Officers will develop career paths to further grow within the Company.

  Multi-Site Officers are expected to work at least once every thirty days to maintain their Multi-Site Officer position. If you are looking for flexibility with your schedule and are willing to be flexible with the needs of Securitas, this is the position for you.

  Position Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Standard computer/technology skills needed.
  • High level customer service skills needed.
  • Must be adaptable to work a variety of sites.
  • Must have strong de-escalation skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to be Safe Driver Certified (Valid Driver License and clean motor vehicle record).
  • Must have 1 Year Security experience.

  Note: All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

  Typical Flex Site Security Officer Activities:

  • Support staffing requirements at different accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, etc.
  • Assist in start-ups at new accounts to include working the site, writing post orders and training checklists and training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
  • Work special security assignments as required.
  • Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during “high need” periods
  • Patrol assigned sites.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies; follow proper protocols for reporting and resolution.
  • Control access to client sites by verifying identification and logging visitor entries/exits.
  • Monitor security systems (e.g., CCTV, alarms) and report irregularities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely incident and activity reports.
  • Enforce site rules and regulations while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff, emergency responders, and other security personnel.
  • Follow post orders and company policies at all assigned locations.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
