      Job summary

      We are a friendly NHS GP Practice in London - Grays Inn Medical Group (Deleham Gardens Surgery and Fortune Green practice in North London Grasy's Inn Medical Practice in central London, and The Vauxhall Surgery in South London)

      We are looking for a full-time experienced Practice Nurse .

      We are seeking someone who is positive, enthusiastic and experienced with good team working skills and flexibility.

      The Nurse will be delivering high standard care in a safe environment that meets the patients needs, whilst maintaining privacy and dignity

      Job responsibilities

      The main responsibilities of the post:

      The role of the Practice Nurse is to work within their scope of practice. The Practice Nursing will provide and deliver a high standard of nursing care.

      The Practice Nurse will safely meet the patients needs to include; undertaking routine procedures including measuring and interpreting blood glucose levels, recording and interpreting vital signs, wound care, adult and childhood immunisations, smear tests and various LTC checks and reviews.

      The Practice Nurse will be expected to carry out planned care to our patients.

      The successful applicant must be flexible, a good team worker, used to working under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients and the team.

      • Registered Nurse with up to date certificates
      • Primary care experience

      Desirable

      • Experience of working within a GP practice and on EMIS Web is preferable
