This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied and rewarding clinical role, with a particular focus on wound care and tissue viability, alongside delivering routine immunisations, cervical screening, and injectable therapies.

We are especially keen to hear from candidates with an interest in sexual and reproductive health, and who are confident in delivering family planning advice. Experience in the provision of long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) is highly desirable, as we are looking to strengthen and expand our services in this area.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be available to work up to 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to cover shifts starting from 7:30am or finishing at 8:00pm, as part of our extended access provision. However, we warmly welcome applications from experienced Practice Nurses who can offer a minimum of 24 hours per week.

      • Expertise in tissue viability and pressure ulcer prevention
      • Performing and interpreting Doppler assessments
      • Conducting cervical cytology
      • Administration of routine and immunisations, including all adult and childhood vaccinations
      • Administration of other injections eg contraception, Zoladex etc.
      • Supporting the management of long-term conditions

  • About the company

National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
