      At White Mountain Cable as a Lineman I Telecom, you’ll install and repair aerial telecommunications fiber and copper cables.

      Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour

      What you’ll do as a Lineman I Telecom

      • You will install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
      • You will safely use hand tools and equipment such as; wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
      • You will safely operate mechanized equipment such as; bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators, and more
      • You will direct traffic flow in accordance with local DOT guidelines
      • You will safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders
      • You will work in multiple locations
      • You will maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies



      What you’ll need

      • To be 18 years of age or older
      • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
      • Valid driver’s license
      • Prior experience as a lineman placing aerial and underground telecommunication cable (fiber and coax) in OSP and ISP environments
      • Ability to climb utility poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet

      Physical abilities & exposures

      • This role routinely requires extended periods of standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
      • Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind



      Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour
