- You will install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
- You will safely use hand tools and equipment such as; wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
- You will safely operate mechanized equipment such as; bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators, and more
- You will direct traffic flow in accordance with local DOT guidelines
- You will safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders
- You will work in multiple locations
- You will maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Valid driver’s license
- Prior experience as a lineman placing aerial and underground telecommunication cable (fiber and coax) in OSP and ISP environments
- Ability to climb utility poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet
- This role routinely requires extended periods of standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind
