What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and produce white papers, articles, and case studies, keeping abreast of national medical news
- Create speeches, talking points, and presentations to highlight research publications and clinical trials
- Conduct research on healthcare policy, population health trends, and value-based care models
- Collaborate with marketing to share research publications and success stories with a broader audience
- Translate complex clinical and scientific research into accessible writing for diverse audiences
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in public health, population health, epidemiology, healthcare, communication, scientific writing, or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience, coursework, or research in public health, population health, epidemiology, healthcare, communication, scientific writing, or a related field
- Strong writing, researching, editing, and communication skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PhD degree in public health, population health, epidemiology, healthcare, communication, scientific writing, or a related field
- Experience in public health, healthcare administration, scientific writing, research, and communications related to health systems or academic institutions
