DRA covers all major mining centres with offices across Africa and the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia-Pacific About the role We are seeking expressions of interest for a Project Engineering Manager / Design Manager to join our Perth based engineering team. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be leading a highly experienced project team and managing an assigned critical mineral project and/or study. The role would be offered on a full-time permanent basis. Brief duties * Provide strategic direction and leadership to the project engineering team, setting clear goals, objectives, and priorities align with project requirements. * Develop and implement design processes, methodologies, and standards to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence in engineering deliverables across projects. * Oversee the execution of detailed design projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets and quality standards. * Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to clarify design objectives, allocate resources, and resolve technical issues. * Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes. * Lead and mentor the project team, fostering a culture of collaboration. * Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure engineering solutions meet project requirements and industry standards. * Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of engineering deliverables to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirement and client expectations.
