      Minnehaha Academy is a PreK – 12 Christian school and a ministry of the Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church of America.

      Our mission is to provide a high quality education integrating the Christian faith and learning.

      Extended Day Teacher

      Our program is open Monday through Friday during the school year, serving grades K-8. The hours for this position are 2:45pm to 6:00pm. During school breaks, there are also opportunities to work 4 to 6 hour shifts. Salary range will be $17.00 - $21.00 per hour.

      Qualifications for the job include:

      • Passion for working with children
      • Reliable and dependable
      • Strong people skills to interact with the children, parents, and staff
      • Prior experience working with children in a church, school, daycare, or camp setting preferred
      • Ability to plan and implement age appropriate activities
      • Support and implement the mission of the school and the Extended Day Program
      • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
