General Description
Visits customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Contacts customers in person to encourage and secure payment of delinquent accounts. Provides orientation to customer concerning payment alternatives, debt restructuring and obtains payment promise. Follows-up on payment promises. Receives payments and posts amount paid to customer account. Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.
Education
24-60 Bachelor's degree credits approvedExperience
At least one year of related experience in external collections.
Certifications / Licenses
Driver's License is requiredOther Qualifications
Positive attitude
Ability to handle claims during visits or over the phone
Willing to work under pressure
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday (Weekends Availability)
9:00am - 6:00pm
