General Description
Visits customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Contacts customers in person to encourage and secure payment of delinquent accounts. Provides orientation to customer concerning payment alternatives, debt restructuring and obtains payment promise. Follows-up on payment promises. Receives payments and posts amount paid to customer account. Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts. Must be able to provide call center support as required.
Education
24-60 Bachelor's degree credits approved in Business Administration or otherExperience
At least one year of related experience in external collections and customer service.
Certifications / Licenses
Driver's License is requiredOther Qualifications
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm
Flexibility to work weekends, extended hours, and holidays are required if necessary.
